Computers and other electronic devices - phones, PDAs etc - can all be used or be suspected of use in criminal activity.
They can even be the target of crime. Understanding the nature and role of electonic devices in the possible commission
of criminal activity is central to our approach to the analysis of such evidence.
At Forensic Engineering Solutions
we recognize the importance and fragility of electronic evidence. We are entirely cognisant of the import of proper
seizure and collection of electronic evidence.
At Forensic Engineering Solutions we use the most up to date
tools and systems available, in order to assess and analyse the the propriety of evidence alleged to exist in respect of electronic
equipment. We will examine and interrogate all aspects of electronic evidenc, from collection and seizure, right through
to presentation.
Whatever platform the device operates we can access the necessary information, although we are
very aware of the operations that can corrupt or alter stored information.
Always remember, digital evidence may
not be worth the paper it's written upon.
